Each year, the 99th Force Support Squadron hosts base wide signature events that bring the Nellis Air Force Base community together. Rooted in Force Support Squadron traditions across the Air Force, these events are designed to build morale, strengthen connections, and highlight programs that enhance quality of life for Airmen, Guardians, families, retirees, and civilians.

Kayak The Black Canyon

Eggstravaganza

A springtime family favorite held at the baseball field near the Youth Center, Eggstravaganza features age appropriate egg hunts, games, and family friendly activities. Photo booths, bounce houses, and interactive attractions make this event especially popular with young children and their families.

Spring Carnival

Held toward the end of spring, Spring Carnival brings classic fair fun to Nellis Air Force Base with rides, games, food, and live entertainment. Hosted at an outdoor location on base, the event offers a lively, family friendly atmosphere to celebrate the season and enjoy warmer weather together.

Mini Travel Fair

Typically held in early summer, the Mini Travel Fair connects the Nellis community with travel ideas, deals, and resources. Hosted by Information, Tickets and Travel at the Nellis Club, the event brings together travel and entertainment partners from across the Las Vegas Valley to help attendees plan stress free, discounted summer getaways.

Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest kicks off the start of autumn with themed food, music, and social activities inspired by traditional celebrations. Hosted at a central on base venue, the event creates a festive setting for the community to relax, enjoy cooler weather, and connect.

HauntFest

Held in mid autumn, HauntFest transforms an outdoor on base space into a lively fall celebration. Featuring Trunk or Treat, themed attractions, free giveaways, and entertainment, the event provides a safe and welcoming way for all ages to enjoy the Halloween season on base.

FrostFest

FrostFest takes place each December at the Nellis Club and marks the start of the holiday season. Festive décor, entertainment, photos with Santa, and seasonal activities create a warm and inviting atmosphere for families, friends, and those with base access to celebrate together.

99FSS InfoFair

Held twice a month at the Nellis Club, the 99FSS InfoFair helps Airmen, families, and civilians navigate life at Nellis Air Force Base. The event brings key programs and services together in one place, making it especially helpful for newcomers arriving on a Permanent Change of Station and anyone looking to better understand available base resources.
