Desert Eagle RV Park
Open only to DoD cardholders and Retirees, the Desert Eagle RV Park has 226 total campsites, 222 full hookup sites, and 4 partial hookup sites. With our recent expansion, 115 new full hookup sites have been added and they are getting rave reviews!
Other amenities include one tent area, a coin-operated Laundromat, shower & restroom facilities, and short-term storage for a maximum of 90 days.
Rates are only available nightly, and the length of stay can be up to 6 months. Reservation may be made up to 6 months in advance by mail, phone, or e-mail.
In accordance with DoDM5200.08V3_DAFMAN31-101V3_DAFGM2024-01, paragraph 5.1.c.(4), se above Purpose for veterans and VA caregivers is only established if the above facilities (medical, 1WR, DECA, and AAFES) exist on the installation they are attempting to gain access to. In line with Department of Defense efforts to eliminate gaps in policy that potentially allow an adversary access to the installation, veterans and VA caregivers are no longer allowed to sponsor “5 accompanying individuals” DoDMS200.08V3_DAFMAN31-101V3_DAFGM2024-01), paragraphs 5.1.c.(4).(c).3. & 5.1.c.(4).(d).4] using their VHIC or VA caregiver status. If these individuals possess some other affiliation (ex. military retiree, dependent, etc) they are still eligible to extend sponsorship under those affiliations. Current and historic Fitness must still be determined at the VCC prior to attaching the HIC or REAL-ID to the profile owned by the veteran or VA caregiver.

Please note, if you do not have an Active Duty ID, Dependent ID, CAC Card, or Nevada State Real ID, you will not be allowed to enter the installation without two forms of Identification!
Site Guidelines
Desert Eagle RV park resident guidelines
Any violation of the rules will first result in a verbal warning. Repeated violations of the rules could result in eviction from the park. If you have any questions regarding the rules, please come to the office and we will be happy to help.
General Guidelines
1. Quiet hours are from 2200-0700. Please do not run generators during this time.
2. Open flames are prohibited in the RV Park. You may use gas grills or grills with briquettes only. Please do not place grills or cooking stoves on the picnic tables. Place them flat on the ground or on your own cooking table away from vegetation. No torch lights or camp fires in wood fire pits are allowed. Propane fire pits are permitted.
3. Vehicles/RVs must be in good running order, present a clean, well-kept appearance, have current registration/insurance and all trailers must have a tow vehicle. New/standard sites are limited to 2 license plates. Additional paid storage spots may be purchased if available. Storage trailers may be parked in the driveway if in a premium pull-through. Please do not park your vehicle in adjoining spaces even if they are empty.
4. Homesteading is prohibited. The maximum length of stay in Air Force Fam Camp must not exceed 180 days per 12 consecutive month period. After which you must vacate the park for six months. Maximum stay for tents is 30 days, after which you must vacate for 30 days. Sleeping inside vehicles is not permitted.
5. Please do not damage, destroy or cut any landscaping, remove rocks, plant any new plants or tamper with the irrigation system. Please do not use picnic tables for any kind of construction work.
6. Motor vehicles or tents are not allowed on patios or landscaping in RV Sites.
Motorcycles and bicycles may be parked on the patio or on the rocks next to the RV.
7. Sponsors are responsible for all members that are staying at their site. Children under the age of 12 must be supervised by an adult at all times.
8. RV Sites are to be maintained in an orderly fashion, free of storage units, freezers, refrigerators, clothes lines and swimming pools. Hammocks are not allowed. RVs may not be skirted; wheels and tires may not be removed.
9. Customers may not perform major maintenance or oil changes to RVs or
vehicles in the park. If emergency repairs are needed, please notify the office. RVs may not be washed in the park unless it is by a recommended company.
10. Feeding birds in the RV Park is prohibited.
11. Motorized vehicles are not allowed on walking trails.
12. All firearms must be turned into the base armory upon your arrival to the base.
13. Speed limit in the park is 10 MPH.
14. Customers are responsible for paying site fees on time. Late fees will be applied after the 3rd day late, and on the 7th day with or without payment, customers will be asked to vacate by close of business.
15. Any violation of these guidelines will first result in a verbal warning. A second violation will result in a warning documented in your account. The third violation will result in you being asked to vacate the park within 24 hours. At their discretion, the manager may implement additional guidance to address safety, equipment, park grounds or any other concerns not contained in this section. Patrons stay at their own risk. We are not responsible for any bodily harm, loss, theft or damage of personal property.
Pet Guidelines
1. Pets are limited to a total of 3 per site.
2. Do not leave pets unattended. Customers may not leave their campsite if pets are tethered or fenced outside. Please do not allow pets in landscaping outside of your site.
3. Pet owners must ensure their pets are not a nuisance or disturbing other guests by constantly barking, howling, running loose, etc.
4. Dogs and cats must be on a leash at all times outside of the RV or Dog Parks. Owners must maintain control of their animals at all times.
5. Owners must show proof of current rabies vaccinations upon check-in, and
vaccinations must remain current through the duration of stay.
6. Please do not groom your pets outside of your RV.
7. Pets are not allowed in public campground facilities except the pavilion and office.
8. Pets displaying any form of aggressive or vicious behavior will be removed from the park immediately.
Bicycles, Motorcycles and Mopeds
1. A helmet is required for all bicycle riders on base, which includes riding in the park.
2. A DOT approved helmet is required for motorcycles and mopeds.
3. For motorcycles and mopeds, you must wear eye protection, long sleeved shirt or jacket, gloves (full fingered), pants and boots (over the-ankle footwear).
