Creech AFB Military & Family Readiness Center
Mission Statement: Provide Airmen, Guardians, DoD civilian employees, retirees and eligible family members support and services, contributing to the mission readiness, resiliency and well-being of the Air Force community.
Programs
Personal Financial Readiness
Designed to promote financial readiness to all Airmen, Guardians, their families, and DOD Civilians. Counselors and Educators are available in a class or one-on-one setting. These include preventive, crisis, and proactive education courses available.
Readiness Program
The M&FRC is the focal point for personal and family readiness services, as well as serving as a consultant for leadership on family separation concerns. Assistance and support are given to individuals, families, and leadership during mobilization and deployments. Services and activities help prepare members/families to successfully manage separation and reintegration, increase individual and family morale and unit cohesion, and support operational readiness. This includes courses in Pre and Post Deployment, Hearts Apart events for families with deployed spouses.
Transition Assistance Program
Congressionally mandated program for service members as they prepare to separate/retire from the military. Members need to begin 18-24 months prior to separation/retirement. This is a 4 Step program:
STEP 1: Initial Counseling: ALL members must begin by emailing 432SPTS.FSFR.TAP@us.af.mil, to begin the TAP journey.
STEP 2: Pre-Separation Briefing: This briefing is a complete rundown of your transition and how to create your transition plan.
STEP 3: TAP workshops! These workshops will assist the member in a path for to successfully move forward to a civilian life.
STEP 4: CAPSTONE: Capstone is a review of your career readiness.
Casualty Program
Advise retiring members about SBP to allow for an informed decision concerning future survivor benefits and to provide available resources, guidance, and websites for Airmen, Guardians, and eligible dependent family members.
Survivors Benefits Program
Advise retiring members about SBP to allow for an informed decision concerning future survivor benefits and to provide available resources, guidance, and websites for Airmen, Guardians, and eligible dependent family members.
Air Force Families Forever
Air Force Families Forever links families of fallen Airmen and Guardians to their Air and Space Force Family promoting Survivor resilience, fostering well-being and connectedness.
Relocation Assistance Program
We offer courses for our new arrivals to Creech to our Active-Duty members and our Spouses. We also offer our newest program, Pre-Arrival Orientation via Zoom, this gives members and their families the opportunity to learn about the area prior to arrival.
EFMP
Exceptional Families Member Program (EFMP) to provide exceptional service to special needs family members who seek resources and services to obtain and maintain a successful military life.
Leadership & Management Counseling
We offer Leaders and Managers with counseling and courses in teambuilding, communications, and many others.
Employment
Designed to help military & DoD civilian spouses prepare to find employment and/or improve marketability skills in reaching career goals.
Personal & Work Life
We provide enrichment and skill building activities and courses. Topics can include communication skills, relationship building, maintaining long distance relationships, positive parenting, teambuilding, and many more.
Military Life Family Counseling
Our center is staffed with a Military and Family Life Counselor (MFLC) who provides short-term solution-based counseled to service members and their families. We offer non-medical counseling in the following areas: anger management, communication, relationship issues, conflict resolution, parenting, decision making skills, deployment stress, coping skills, home sickness, & many more. Air Force Aid Society
In 1942, Air Force Aid Society (AFAS) is an official charity for the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Space Force. AFAS is designed to assist with the following:
Emergency Assistance: When unexpected emergencies arise, there is a financial need and help is needed, AFAS provides no-interest loans and/or grants to help meet immediate needs and make a positive step towards a lasting financial solution.
